The Crystal & Healing Federation (CHF) is an accrediting body for Subtle Energy Medicine and is a member of Crystal and Healing International (CHI) which is a lead (and regulatory) body for Subtle Energy Medicine.  Therapies include Crystal Healing, Energy Healing, Bach Flower Remedies (for qualified crystal and energy healers only), Stress Therapy and Subtle Energy Medicine Practitioner™ and Subtle Energy Medicine Specialist™ levels. There is also a teacher training course available for those who wish teach profound energy work.

The CHF/CHI outlook on this is that the therapies it represents evaluate and address the subtle anatomy (the auric field and the systems within it) of a client and not the physical body. Practitioners are not trained to diagnose or directly treat physical symptoms and/or disease and regard this as the domain of conventional and alternative medicine. They are, however, highly competent in what is termed subtle energy work, in the knowledge that a balance on those levels may also be of benefit to an individual as a whole. This is why we could also liken these therapies to subtle health care.

The level of expertise that CHF/CHI expects and wishes to promote is reflected in the minimum training standards that schools and colleges are asked to adhere to. In addition to generic standards, those in regard to subtle energy work are numerous and detailed. Practitioners also must adhere to a strict code of conduct that in addition to usual benchmarks also includes respecting strict boundaries between subtle energy medicine, alternative medicine and conventional medicine.

There is as yet no scientific evidence that validates the CHF/CHI therapies and most other complementary therapies. We are also not aware of any research into the subtle energy field and the systems within it and how this relates to the well being of an individual. Stress Therapy, however, is slightly different and can be regarded in a more conventional manner.
