The CHF was formed in 1998.  It is an accrediting umbrella for Crystal and Energy Healing, Bach Flower Remedies (for qualified healers) and Stress Therapy.  In 2011 it added to its accreditation the qualifications in ‘Subtle Energy Medicine’ to both Subtle Energy Medicine Practitioner™ (level 2) and Subtle Energy Medicine Specialist™ (level 4) as established by member schools.

The aim of the CHF is to uphold and maintain the highest standards of training in the therapies it accredits and represents.  An additional aim is to improve the reputation of these therapies by providing the best possible standards of professional practice for the public and in the conventional health care setting.

After recent changes that have allowed CHF to integrate essential progress, the qualities of Light, Integrity and Dedication have been adopted as it’s heading.  These qualities are indicative of the CHF’s principles towards its members, standards of practice, therapies, the public and other health care professionals.

All CHF members are expected to work to a high code of conduct, practice and ethics, in order to help promote professionalism and effectiveness within the therapies it represents, as well as the ‘healing movement’ in general.

CHF is a founder member of Crystal and Healing International (CHI), now a lead and regulatory body for all Subtle Energy therapies that CHF accredits.  CHI was formerly known as the British Crystal Healers (established in 2003), the lead body for Crystal Healing in the UK.

CHF aims to stay a small umbrella with a maximum of 10 schools in order to ensure that quality is maintained.  It is, however, very open to work with other small umbrellas that want to join CHI.
